A house on St. George Island for under $300K??08/06/08    Yes, this St. George Island home, MLS #208826, listed by another broker in the area, was just lowered to an asking price of $299,900! It is recently remodeled, cute as a button inside, with a great porch along the bay-facing side of the house. It's in the interior of the island, but still only a few minutes walk to either beach or bay. And, the bottom two pictures at right are two other recent sales on the island, at $210K and $299K respectively. The bottom one was a foreclosure property that I helped one of my customers snag, as soon as it came on the market. They bought it as is from the bank, who had it listed with another local realtor. The home inspection on it was virtually perfect - all it needed was some TLC, and it has blossomed into a warm family home for these buyers.
