St. George Island real estate



One of the more interesting real estate transactions we do on St. George Island is shown in the photos below.  Our buyers bought this house that was on a beachfront lot, just for the lot.  They sold the house to someone who wanted a fixer-upper, and they moved it to their lot.  This entailed taking it down off its pilings with a huge crane, and putting it back up on pilings at its new home. 


Quite the engineering feat!


Our customers came away with a gorgeous beachfront lot ready for them to build the house of their dreams, and the house that was there has found its own new home with happy owners there ready to fix it up for its new life as their dream getaway. 


Everyone is happy!


You might be wondering... yes, beachfront lots are at a premium on St. George - there are still vacant building lots on the island, but not too many are for sale.  We are spoiled on St. George - everything on the island is within easy access of the beach, but there's just something about being beach FRONT!!  It's a special place... beachfront, bayfront, or anything in between...
