It's hard to say which part of this area is my favorite: the barrier island of St. George with its beautiful white sand beaches, wildlife, and pet-friendly resort character, the little towns of Apalachicola, Carrabelle, and Eastpoint, for their fresh seafood, outstanding restaurants, and friendly local shopping, or Dog Island with its quietly superior shelling, fishing, and privacy.
