We have one traffic light in the entire county, and no highrises, theme parks, or big box shopping centers. We all come here because we like Florida in its natural state of being.
 This is a special place for sea turtles, and for people looking for their own special property on this beautiful bit of coast. It's hard to say which part of this area is my favorite: the barrier island of St. George with its beautiful white sand beaches, wildlife, and pet-friendly resort character, the little towns of Apalachicola, Carrabelle, and Eastpoint, for their fresh seafood, outstanding restaurants, and friendly local shopping, or Dog Island with its quietly superior shelling, fishing, and privacy.
